“Au revoir, gopher.”

The Quintessential Consumer of Underground Vegetables

– Wednesday, we were at the Lime Tree Restaurant in San Francisco to film owner Siok Ming Djong, and his young son Nathan, showing us how he makes his signature Singapore Noodles for our upcoming Noodles vs. Pasta video.

Then after, we headed over to the Haight Street Farmer’s Market to continue our source-to-table story with Ned Conwell of Blue House Organic Farm.

But the real fun took place on our way back to the car, when we encountered the ultimate consumer of underground vegetables in the form of a four-legged furry rodent, soon to appear to DooF audiences in our Underground Vegetables video.

Needless to say, we’ve assured his agent that Bill Murray will NOT be appearing in the picture.
